Sharing and Exploring Recipes

Mary and I believe that food is the foundation of every culture. We insist on sharing our culture’s tradition through the food we serve our families. We love to cook and although we would love to cook traditional meals every day, we don’t. Mary works full-time and I am a full-time graduate student. We both juggle our busy schedules, children, and household responsibilities while trying to keep everyone’s lives in order. At the end of the day, that’s what mothers do: we make miracles happen through sacrifice.

We won’t try to make it seem like we have it all together. We know it isn’t easy for working mothers to serve their families three square meals of freshly prepared entrees every day. So, we won’t sugar coat it. What we will promise is authenticity from everything we share with you.

So, we have decided to feature a recipe every month on our blog. We will also spotlight other fellow chefs who deliver incredibly tasty and easy-to-follow recipes that we have tested ourselves. Our goal is to share our culture through our recipes so future generations won’t forget who they are.
